Gospel City Church is excited to be sending out our first Short-Term Mission Trip! Our team is currently hard at work preparing and training so that we can be sure that we are blessing to both the long-term missionaries and to those we hope to minister to on this trip. We will be serving with Agape International Missions (AIM), a truly incredible organization in Cambodia.
AIM was founded in Cambodia in 1988 as a humanitarian aid and church planting organization. Since 2005, their ministries have focused on ending the evil of child sexual slavery. Through their efforts, they have seen 3,703 children and adults impacted by prevention programs, 713 children, women, and men rescued from sexual slavery, and 647 survivors restored and reintegrated to a normal and healthy life again. Praise God!
AIM is truly a powerful and utterly Christlike ministry. They do amazing work! We are so excited to partner with them! At their request, we will be teaching photo editing and video editing, skills in the Arts, and more to survivors (whom they call disciples) who are recovering from being subjected to sexual slavery. We will also be leading children's ministry at their Kid's Club, which is one of their ministries that works to prevent the trafficking of children into sex slavery. Join us as we work to spread the gospel and work for justice in Jesus name!
