Michael was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer last summer (2016). Within a month, they uprooted their lives and moved to Korea to fight cancer and receive treatment here. Shortly after, they found Gospel City and our lives were never the same. They taught us what it looked like to worship in the midst of suffering. When Michael led worship, you would never have known that he was suffering such immense pain. He radiated such joy and peace when he worshiped.
On May 22, Michael passed away. He was told he had 2 months to live. He lived for 9 months. Michael won. He leaves behind Sabrina, his beautiful and strong wife, and Marina and Warren.
